Sberbank says RAS net profit at 118 bln rbl in May
MOSCOW, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s top bank Sberbank stood at 118.1 billion rubles in May, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the bank said in a statement on Friday without providing a comparative figure for 2022.
In January–May, the net profit stood at 589 billion rubles.
The bank’s retail loan portfolio increased by 2.6% in May to more than 13 trillion rubles. The corporate loan portfolio grew by 1.4% to more than 20 trillion rubles.
Sberbank’s retail deposits rose by 2.1% on the month to 19 trillion rubles, while corporate deposits declined by 1.9%. Since the start of the year, retail deposits rose by 3.6%, corporate by 4.5%.
